The Philly Goats Gruff

In this production, adapted by Brett Robinson, we will take the iconic Three Billy Goats Gruff fairytale and transform it into an interactive play performed by both humans and (you guessed it) goats! 

There will be tricks, laughs, and audience participation! Both events will be outdoors and socially distant. 

This event is free and donations are welcome, but due to space constraints and coronavirus, registration is required and proof of registration will need to be shown on the day of the event. Limit of 4 people per family ticket for free tickets.

Philly Goat Project:

The Philly Goat Project is a unique community-based program offering animal-assisted therapy, goat yoga and community wellness. The intention of the program is to provide these unique services while practicing responsible environmentalism, respectful and humane treatment of all creatures, while creating a platform that brings really fun agricultural experiences to the urban landscape.

Brett Robinson:

Brett Ashley Robinson is a Barrymore award winning theatre maker in Philadelphia. She has worked with New York Theatre Workshop, The Public, The Wilma, Lightning Rod Special, Pig Iron Theater Company, Ars Nova Ant Fest,The Arden Theatre Company, InterAct Theatre Company, The Flea Theatre, Theatre Horizon, Geva Theatre, and Actors Theatre of Louisville. She is a company member of Applied Mechanics and a member of the HotHouse–the Wilma Theater resident company.

The Head & The Hand:

H&H nonprofit independent publisher and bookstore located in East Kensington, Philadelphia. Our goal is to create innovative relationships between authors and the work they produce. We look for writing that shows a connection from the head to the hand while stocking books and publishing stories that have the power to change and entertain.

Sunflower Hill Philly:

Sunflower Hill or Sunflower Philly is a community-based, nonprofit organization focused on providing access to art, music & sustainable resources through a curated series of events and programs in North Philadelphia. It is a beautiful bermuda triangle between Kensington, Northern Liberties, and Fairhill that hosts artists, musicians, cultural events, and sometimes...goats!
