WHAT IS THE PHILLY GOAT PROJECT?

WHY GOATS?

The Philly Goat Project is a unique community-based program offering animal-assisted therapy, goat yoga and community wellness.

The intention of the program is to provide these unique services while practicing responsible environmentalism, respectful and humane treatment of all creatures, while creating a platform that brings really fun agricultural experiences to the urban landscape.

We're biased but we think goats are amazing! They are hardy, sociable, smart, and fun. They adapt easily to urban landscapes and love eating poison ivy, raspberry bushes and even Christmas trees.

Goats can be found in every country of the world thriving among families; producing milk, growing fiber from their silky coats, quietly cutting lawns, and befriending children.
